Craig Lancaster is the author of 10 novels and a collection of short stories. His debut, 600 Hours of Edward, was a Montana Honor Book and the 2010 High Plains Book Award winner for best first book. In 2022, he won the High Plains Book Award for fiction for And It Will Be a Beautiful Life. A longtime journalist, he’s now a research analyst with a focus on payments, as well as the design director at Montana Quarterly magazine, where he’s also a frequent contributor of essays and short fiction. Lancaster grew up in Texas and now makes his home in Billings, Montana.
